I purchased a dengfu fm059 disk cyclocross bike through velobuild a couple of years ago. The quality is really quite good and the purchasing procedure went fairly smoothly. Just wondered if anyone had had any dealings with them over the holiday period. I had a dengfu fm098 it honestly was a very good bike and i really enjoyed using it upgraded to a tarmac and the difference in stiffness is insane i ll be taking the fm098 apart later in the year and putting 105 on it to use as a winter bike.

While i am impressed at the quality of the bike i am less thrilled with the small parts that were sold. Have been looking at buying an unbranded frame for a bike build and am looking at either the avenger r8 or the dengfu fm098. I also wouldn t bother with the dengfu stem it s heavier than aluminium quite bulky and the finish for the handlebar clamp was not circular that got hit with the dremel for 30 seconds too. I really like the bike.
